destinations. From back bay fishing in the shallows to deep sea
excursions in the Gulf of Mexico, Charlotte's spectacular fishing
is exciting. Tarpon, snook, redfish, barracuda, cobia, grouper and
many other sport and game fish fill the Gulf of Mexico and Charlotte
Harbor. Fly fishing for tarpon, snook, redfish and shark is very
popular. Many charter services and private guides are available
specifically for the fly fishing angler.  Florida's
Saltwater or Freshwater Fishing License Fee Schedule: Non-resident fees: 3-day license $6.50 (not offered for Freshwater) 7-day license $16.50 1-year license $31.50 Licenses available through the Charlotte County Tax Collector's Office; add $2 if purchased at a bait and tackle shop.
